Historic House with Huge Windows

The owners of this fabulous historic property approached us to help them putting the finishing touches to their new home and with huge windows to dress it was no mean feat!

Lovers of interesting art works and with a clear eye for design themselves our senior designer Donna Schofield worked along side the home owners to provide soft furnishings and bespoke upholstery to compliment the pieces they had already chosen.

A stunning contemporary kitchen with a high dining table needed bar stools that were not only comfortable but also beautiful in their own right, meaning this cut printed velvet from Designers Guild was the perfect choice.

An amazing space with stunning features and huge windows.  Fabrics from Casamance, Laresen and Kravet were chosen in a neutral pallette.  Smart box pelmets were designed to fit the proportions of the windows and pinch pleat curtains made to sit in neat folds.

For practical reasons a roman blind was also fitted into one of the windows and roman blinds in a different fabric were fitted to the windows in the alcove to create a contemporary look.

Dining Room

For this super smart entertaining room a pelmet, curtains and roman blind were chosen in the same proportions as the lounge using an embroidered geometric patterned fabric.

A luxurious feel was created for the bedroom using a Wemyss fabric to make a huge bespoke upholstered headboard for the bed.  Curtains in a fabric from Camengo and roman blinds in an Alhambra fabric complete the look.

Dressing Room

The most beautiful architectural features to the windows meant that minimal fuss was required dressing this window.  A simple roman blind for privacy and to diffuse the light and  elegant curtains in a plain fabric.
