Ian is the linchpin in the team at Furnish & Fettle having recently joined us after running his own business in East Yorkshire for several years.
He brought with him a wealth of hands on knowledge of the high end interiors market which makes him a valuable resource of technical expertise to our team. Ian’s practical experience working on large scale projects throughout both the UK and abroad means that there is little he hasn’t seen or done, which means that we can be confident that we are offering not only a beautiful but also a practical interior design solution.
With his friendly and approachable style, Ian is popular with our team and our clients alike.
“I enjoy seeing a project come together and a job well done” says Ian, who is a perfectionist and takes pride in his work.
Katie joined the Furnish & Fettle team early on and has been instrumental in ensuring that everything runs smoothly.
Working closely with both the designers and the installations team as well all of our suppliers, Katie handles everything from point of order until the client is completely happy with their finished scheme.
Paccelli, or Chellie as she is also know, has joined our team as an intially as an Intern, and is now a permanent member of our team working part time while she completes her final year of her BA(Hons) in Interior Design at The University of Huddersfield.
“My vision is to design sustainable, innovative mind blowing spaces that are human-centric. Good design inspires change and growth in the people who use the spaces. I combine research, insight and inspiration to create a memorable experience” says Chellie.
Based mainly at our Wetherby showroom Chellie has been thrown into the deep end and already completed some amazing projects and has developed her own loyal client base.
“By creating mood boards and samples and browsing the material library for inspiration, I’ll help you to develop a concept and scheme for a design before moving on to soft furnishings, or designing bespoke furniture and joinery. Having completed two years of University, I’m always learning (as I think everyone is!) and Furnish & Fettle is a great place for me to do that. I’m enjoying lending my skills to a domestic and commercial design environment and absorbing as much as possible from a team of talented senior designers”
Lucy joined the Furnish & Fettle team in 2018 bringing a fresh approach and flair to our Interior Design Service in Wetherby. Having worked with some of the top Designers in the area she has developed a very varied style, having worked on many projects from Villas in Europe, Country Estates in Yorkshire, and Full House Renovations. Lucy specialises in whole room schemes looking at everything from cushions, lighting to 16 seater dining tables. Having gained a first class honours degree in Interior Architecture, Lucy also pays a lot of attention to spatial planning, the use of the space and flow through the rooms. The positioning of furniture and lighting can transform a space even before the soft furnishings have been added.
“I tend to take inspiration from many aspects. Architecture, colours, the orientation of room, the use of the space and the style of the property but mainly the clients. If a scheme is not fit for purpose then it will never work. All designs and schemes are tailor made for the client and their home. I have a very down to earth approach based on trust and honesty. Designing someone’s home is not only a privilege it is also a very personal experience for them.”

I always feel privileged to be invited to a client’s home having the opportunity to create a special living place for them.”
