Eleanor Goddard – Director
Eleanor is usually based at the Wetherby showroom where she runs her own projects. Eleanor also tries to spend quality time with the teams in the Harrogate and Pocklington branches too.
Having started her career in interiors with Laura Ashley back in the late 1980s, Eleanor’s career veered from her passion for several years before undertaking a soft furnishings course and setting up a small business working from home.
Since running Furnish & Fettle, Eleanor has immersed herself in the world of high end interiors and loves working alongside the design team to help people achieve their perfect interior spaces.
Glyn Goddard – Director
Glyn runs the operations side of Furnish & Fettle – in his own words “I get stuff done”.
Prior to buying the James Brindley business back in 2016, Glyn was a director of a large food company but always wanted to run his own business and escape the corporate rat race.
With experience and a passion for property renovation, Glyn is well placed to understand the challenges clients face when trying to create their dream home.
Although a recent addition to the team at Furnish & Fettle, Anna brings with her a wealth of practical knowledge and experience from different roles in the residential design arena. Anna has a huge thirst for knowledge which translates through into her through approach to the interior schemes she creates for her clients. Full of energy and with a desire to delight every client, Anna is already creating a loyal following that love working with her.
Lucy joined the Furnish & Fettle team in 2018 bringing a fresh approach and flair to our Interior Design Service in Wetherby. Having worked with some of the top Designers in the area she has developed a very varied style, having worked on many projects from Villas in Europe, Country Estates in Yorkshire, and Full House Renovations. Lucy specialises in whole room schemes looking at everything from cushions, lighting to 16 seater dining tables. Having gained a first class honours degree in Interior Architecture, Lucy also pays a lot of attention to spatial planning, the use of the space and flow through the rooms. The positioning of furniture and lighting can transform a space even before the soft furnishings have been added.
“I tend to take inspiration from many aspects. Architecture, colours, the orientation of room, the use of the space and the style of the property but mainly the clients. If a scheme is not fit for purpose then it will never work. All designs and schemes are tailor made for the client and their home. I have a very down to earth approach based on trust and honesty. Designing someone’s home is not only a privilege it is also a very personal experience for them.”
Leona is one of our Interior Design Assistants and currently works between our showrooms. She joined us in November 2017 and is looking forward to building on her experience at Interior Affair in Boston Spa and is currently training to be an Interior Designer. She has recently completed her diploma in Interior Design with the National Design Academy
Leona’s love of interiors stems from her involvement in several property renovations where her flair for styling was recognised by both friends and the potential purchasers. Leona’s natural preference is for a paired back French antique look, however she is well versed in helping home owners achieve the look that they are hoping to achieve.

Anyone that has seen the window or the TV show, will be well aware of both Adam’s creative flair and his dedication to the task in hand.
Nommi started her career in the interior design industry as a kitchen designer where she built up a solid base of skills, but felt like she was limited by the scope of role to add her creative flair. After a sustained campaign to join the team at Furnish & Fettle, Eleanor and Glyn eventually gave in and invited Nommi to join the Furnish & Fettle family, where she has thrown herself into absorbing all the knowledge of her more experienced colleagues. Nommi loves to work with clients helping to achieve an elevated everyday lifestyle to their home, and is already achieving some stunning results for her clients.
