Eleanor Goddard

Eleanor’s journey in design began with her Saturday job at the iconic Laura Ashley - an experience that sparked a lifelong love of fabrics, textures, and interiors.
After several years working outside the industry, a lifestyle change to accommodate a young family led Eleanor and her husband, Glyn, to launch Furnish & Fettle in 2016.
Eleanor remains at the heart of the business, often found in the showroom, working closely with the design team to support and inspire creativity. Her leadership style is hands-on and collaborative, ensuring every project reflects the high standards and thoughtful detail the brand is known for.
Alongside residential design, Eleanor also oversees Furnish & Fettle’s corporate clients, using her background in marketing to help businesses create spaces that balance visual impact with commercial purpose.
Outside of work she is dog mum to Ralph and a recent convert to cold-water swimming.
Glyn
Goddard

Glyn runs the operations side of Furnish & Fettle – or, in his own words, “I get stuff done.”
Having undertaken several large-scale property developments before leaving the corporate world to launch Furnish & Fettle, Glyn has a thorough understanding of the importance of good project management.
He’s built trusted relationships with a wide network of suppliers and tradespeople who support our in-house installation team to deliver every project seamlessly.
Outside of work he's dog dad to Ralph and currently enjoying building an annexe at home.
Georgie
Smith

From a long line of architects, builders and surveyors, Georgie found her own creative path in interiors - earning her degree in Interior & Architectural Design at Leeds.
With over a decade of experience in high-end residential design, she joined the Furnish & Fettle team in 2021 and quickly became an integral part of the business, managing many of our large-scale projects.
Four years on, she has a loyal following, with many clients recommending her to friends and family thanks to her calm approach, creative flair and attention to detail.
Outside of work she is dog mum to Woody and has recently bought and renovated a cottage in Bedale.
Julianne
Wood

Julianne joined the team in September 2023, bringing with her over 10 years of experience in residential interiors and a wealth of creative skill.
With a first degree in Textiles & Surface Pattern and a second in Interior Design, Julianne combines an eye for detail with a deep understanding of how colour, texture and light transform a space.
Before joining Furnish & Fettle, she worked with a national home design brand and a specialist lighting design company - giving her a well-rounded perspective on both design and practicality.
Outside of work she is dog mum to Otis and currently learning to ride a motorbike.
Holly
Clark

Holly joined Furnish & Fettle in 2025, bringing with her a strong background in high-end residential, commercial, and superyacht design. After graduating with a BA (Hons) in Interior Design from Northumbria University in 2019, she spent several years with a leading North East design practice, working on luxury projects across the UK and beyond.
Her experience across a range of sectors has given her a keen eye for detail and a deep understanding of how to balance practicality with refined, beautiful design. At F&F, she brings a calm, thoughtful approach to every project - helping clients achieve homes that feel both elegant and effortless.
Outside of work, Holly is a keen netball player and has recently taken on her own home renovation project - putting her design skills to work on a more personal scale.
Ian
Beal

Ian is the linchpin of the Furnish & Fettle installations team. Joining us in 2020 after running his own interiors business in East Yorkshire for many years, he brought with him an invaluable wealth of hands-on knowledge and technical expertise in the high-end interiors market.
With over 30 years’ experience working on large-scale residential projects across the UK and abroad, there’s very little Ian hasn’t seen — or solved. His practical insight ensures that every design we deliver isn’t just beautiful, but also functional, durable and expertly executed.
Ian’s calm approach, great sense of humour, and ability to find solutions under pressure make him a favourite among both clients and colleagues.
Outside of work, he’s enjoying his new role as a proud grandad (and part-time babysitter!) — though we still keep him pretty busy at F&F.
Paul
Minns

Paul joined the Furnish & Fettle installations team in early 2024, bringing with him a wide range of practical trade skills and a brilliant can-do attitude.
Previously working as a school caretaker, Paul developed a hands-on understanding of building maintenance and problem-solving - skills that now make him an invaluable part of our on-site team. Whether it’s fitting bespoke joinery, handling complex deliveries, or ensuring every installation runs smoothly, Paul’s strength and precision never go unnoticed.
Outside of work, he’s a keen runner, gym-goer, and rugby player, and a bit of a foodie and chef too, which makes him popular when it comes to team lunches!
Woody & Ralph

Our four-legged team members, Woody and Ralph, are an essential part of life at Furnish & Fettle. Always ready with a wagging tail or a quick cuddle, they make sure every showroom visit starts with a smile. When they’re not greeting clients, you’ll find them napping in a sunny spot or keeping a close eye on biscuit breaks.
